Sales & Marketing Manager (Accra, Ghana)

Location: Accra
We’re seeking a dynamic Sales & Marketing Manager to lead market entry and growth of our beverage portfolio in Ghana. The role covers brand building, distribution development, sales leadership, and profitability management across all key channels.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute sales & marketing plans for market entry and growth
• Recruit, lead, and coach sales teams; set targets and monitor performance
• Identify and manage distributors, wholesalers, and key accounts
• Design and implement trade marketing programs and in-store execution standards
• Adapt brand positioning and run consumer marketing campaigns (BTL, digital, activations)
• Monitor pricing, margins, competitor activity, and recommend tactical actions
• Collaborate with supply chain on demand forecasting and stock rotation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (FDA, labeling, quality)
• Report performance, insights, and opportunities to management and partners
Requirements
• Bachelor’s in Marketing/Business (additional certification is a plus)
• 4–7 years’ FMCG beverage experience in Ghana
• Proven track record in launching/scaling brands and managing distributors
• Strong analytical, leadership, and brand-building skills
• Hands-on, startup-ready, and comfortable in the field
Incentives
• Annual performance bonus (10% of base)
• Weekly over-achievement commission (1% of net sales above target)
