Vacancy Announcement – Principal Manager, Internal Audit

Duties and Responsibilitiest

• Provide inputs for policy formulation.
• Supervise implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Unit programmes.
• Oversee development of the Fund’s audit universe and risk register.
• Confirm deliverables before payment.
• Develop, implement, and review the Audit Charter.
• Evaluate effectiveness of internal control systems.
• Prepare strategic and annual Risk-Based Audit plans.
• Plan, implement, and maintain internal audit systems.
• Ensure compliance with audit, financial administration laws, regulations, and standards.
• Assess governance and risk management systems.
• Lead periodic, special, and annual audits.
• Prepare the Unit’s budget and work plan.

Qualification and Experience

• Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• Chartered membership of a recognized professional body.
• Membership of the Institute of Internal Auditors (advantage).
• Minimum of six (6) years post-Bachelor’s or equivalent relevant work experience.

• Financial management laws, regulations, and fiscal policies.
